HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Yet another bright programme is being staged by the Midnight Ffollcs at His Majesty's Theatre. There arc. several, amusing sketches, in which Clem Dawe and the members of hia: versatile little company^ .< are. seen ' and heard ,at their best, and not'■ the least laughable of these arc "The Curate Calls,': with Mr: Dawe In the title role; "Busy. Bees," a burlesque on a woman's tea party; '"Witchery," a hint to harassed sons-in-law-and "Making a Man," with Clem Dawe doing . his dally dozen. Perhaps the funniest of tho evening's surprises is ;the conjuring turn of Eric Edgloy and Dawe; T-The two brothers are also happily associated In.'. a voice culture lesson, and Clem, to "PaKliaccl" music convulses his lieareis, with a . dissertation on ''Tripe." The Jazz Band plays this week "Meadowlark," "Hungarian Bhapsodle" 'In ■ jazz-form, and "Toreador." The Frolics trio Is one of the hits of the evening, and all the other members of the company acquit- themselves creditably.
