FAVOURABLY IMPRESSED

GENEVA, 24th September. Sir Granville Kyrie (Australia) interviewed on his ininressions of .the League of; Nations, said: "As the Assembly is' closing it may be appropriate to give my impressions of the first of these important int ernational gatherings I have attended. I was struck by the deep sincerity of the proceedings and by the candour with which the nations assemble and discuss ' complex questions of common interest. lam more firmly convinced than ever that we are doing a great work in grappling with the big problem of disarmament .and at the saino timo adequately attending to 1 the restoration of the world's economic cqilibrium. I am not merely interested in the Leaguje; I am convinced it has come to stay, and I shall be able 'to sayat the end of the present Assembly that good solid progress has been made."
