Overdrawn, accounts, cheque books, and everything connected with the banking profession were temporarily forgotten by those who wero engaged inthe Eugby match at Newtown-Parfc this morning between teams represent- ' ing the Wellington and Christchurch' ' banks. The game was played at a fast pace throughout, and there were some good passing boats. The Wellington team played well. Still, the teams were evenly matched, and the Southern bank' ' ers showed up very well at times. , The Christehurch men were first 1-to score, Brown" kicking a good" penally' - goal.
