' DANNEVIKKE, This Day. About 2 a.m. to-day a fire occurred in a nine-roomed wooden house in Swinburn'street, owned by Mr. James Livingston, and occupied by Mr. W. T. Eyre, manager of . the local pictura theatre. The 1 centre of the building was destroyed. Mr. Eyre and- his brother-in-law w,ere the only occupants in the house, Mrs. Eyre having recently gone to Gisborne. Mr. Eyre had been packing his furniture prior to shifting. The building- was insured for £900;-in the London and Lancashire office, and the furniture for £500 in the State office.
