Reeso, chairman of the Orieket Council, when heading a representative deputation to congratulate Mr. T. K. Sidoy on tho passing of the Daylight Saving Bill. Cric-. ket, football, athlotics, tonnis, racing, and commercial travellers took part. Mr. Sidey said that there wero possible difficulties, but if tho system wcro only given a fair trial by tho farmors these difficulties would bo removed for all timo. It would moan a now era for cricket in Now Zoaland.
