Au improved' standard of play during last season is recorded in the annual ren Tt °t the, Salam. anca Municipal Tennis ulub. ,In the coming season, it is stated, it is expected that the maintenance of the courts should be very small, with a resultant increase in the amount by which the bank overdraft should be reduced The club membership totalled sixty during the season, but owing to fifteen resignations recently, the membership was now considerably below the maximum. The report places on record appreciation of the services of Mr G. I. Beeson, the honorarY treasurer, who was transferred to Auckland during the season.
