AUCKLAND, This Day. The protest against the new Customs tariff voiced at a meeting* of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association last week will be brought under the notice of the Minister of Finance, the Hon. "W. Downie Stewart, by Mr. J. A. C. Allum, the president of the association, who will leave for "Wellington to-mor-row evening.
