LOED MAYOR TO VISIT ROME

RUGBY,. 18th September. At the invitation of tho Governor of Borne, the Lord Mayor of London, accompanied by his wife and daughters and two of the new sheriffs, will pay an official vißit to Rome on Ist Ocobcr. The Lord Mayor has in the past officially visited Paris, and on one occasion a visit was paid to Czechoslovakia, but this is the first time a civic party has ever visited Rome.
