(Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. Gordon Macdonald Gordon aged 30 a commission agent, was convicted on Wednesday on three charges of theft and one of obtaining money by false pretences.

The- Chief Detective said that tho accused had been sailing too close to the wind all the time. The Probation Officer remarked that Gordon required to bo brought up with a round turn, as he was.rather a cheeky individual. The Magistrate, Mr. Hunt, admitted him to probation for two years and ordered the restitution of £33.
