DE LUXE THEATRE.

The harm of scandal-mongerlng forms the basis of "Lovers," to be shown finally to-night at the Do Luxe Theatre. It tells the story of a young playwright who vainly tries to combat the gossip which links his name with that of the wife of his best friend. Rumour eventually forces him to fight a duel, one or the most exciting episoaes in the picture. The- contestants are Ramon Novarro and John Miljan. Alice Terry plays the leading feminine role. Included on the programme is a gUMtie, and a New Zealand scenic. Mr Jimamiel Aarons plays "By the Waters of Mlnnetonka' on the Wurlitzer organ, and the urcnestra De Luxe plays a selection, from Verdi's liigoletto."
