(To tha Editor.)
Sir, —I -,vas pleased to read the letter signed "Disgusted" in "The Post" of 10th inst., re the above. May I ask that you be good enough to publish the division list of the council on the question'? The public, hits a right to know the names of those councillors who seem bent upon destroying and uprooting the old associations that belong to the early settlement and history of Wellington.—l am, etc., ALSO DISGUSTED. 11th August. [The change of name from Colder's Hill to Kcclestou Hill was suggested as necessary in "order to avoid confusion, particularly should need arise to report an outbreak of lire, with Gohlie's Brae, Eccleston Kill being suggested as this was the name of tlie birthplace of the late Mr. Seddon. The division list was as i'ollowu:—For ' the . change: The Mayor, Councillors 31. I). Bennett, B. G. ll.•'Burn, .!. Burns. M. !•'. Luekie, G* Mitchell., U.-JU'Kcen, R. W. M'Villy, and R.
