FALLING BAROMETER
CHANGE IN WEATHER
Although, pressure- has decreased in the South sinco last night, a high centre lias been located in the North. Westerly to northerly breezes have prevailed, but fino weather has been experience generally. Beports this morning, however, showed that conditions were cloudy in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island. The forecast is for a change to cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain generally, and heavy rain in the western districts. Northerly winds, increasing strong to gale, and backing by,west to southerly after about thirty-six hours, are predicted.
