"THE GLORY OF THE GARDEN"
XTo the Editor.)
Sir, —The very appreciative notice of my recital at the Town Hall last night contains a mistake which I would like to be allowed to correct.
Your critic is Tinder the misapprehension in attributing "The "Glory of the Garden" to an Australian writer. It is by Kudyard Kipling. It appeared first in a school "History of England," and during the war it received the unusual distinction of being used as a preface to an English Parliamentary Blue Book.— l am, etc., * ALEXANDER WATSON,
