I know positively that there are many farmers in this country who are anxious to have the Bill passed and are supporting the measure. ■L her?, are other farmers who have expressed themselves to me as being fairmnded enough to give the proposal a fair mSn -f T ms °bvious to me that the maonty of people in New Zealand are looking forward to the new measure,^ at-all events to a fair trial being given For generations now an existing order o£ trkTnf 8S prevalle/- A seventeen weeks' tOb=- of It o PpplS emino^ section does not seem to carry any cS ton and I really cannot see or appreciate that any real difficulty exists or will be experienced by anyone if the BUI passes! At all events an opportunity is near at hand to give us the experience of tryine dayWht saving, and after the seventeen weeks we will be better able to judge the effects for ourselves.
