FAIR TRIAL WANTED

Sir,—l was greatly impressed by the recent letter appearing in your paper concerning the operation of the Bill now Oelore Parliament to enable us to utilise a greater proportion of our available daylight. After reading this letter, I felt th«fc the section of farmers opposing the Bill was moved by an unreasoning prejudice rather than deciding the matter intelligently on us merits. At all events an opportunity is near at hand to give us the experience of tryine dayWht saving, and after the seventeen weeks we will be better able to judge the effects for ourselves.
