YOUNG WOMAN CONVICTEE
(Special to "The Evening Post.") CHBISTOHUKCH, This Day Charges of false pretences, involv ~aa 's, were made against a ym women named Doris Brown in the M. istrate's.Court. She was convicted { ordered to be detained for reformat purposes for a period hot- exceed tnree years.
The Chief Detective stated that accused stole two cheques from employer. The first cheque was accc ed by a retailing" arm,'but upon second one being questioned the ace ed obtained goods by falsely repress ing that she was in the employ o customer of the firm. ' ' '
