MOUNT MORGAN MINE
PROPOSAL TO CONTDTOE

BRISBANE, This Day. The directors of the Mount Morgan mine are considering a proposal to continue operations on a co-operative basis. The Mayor of Rockhampton has called a conference representing the shareholders, employees, and residents of the Roekhampton district to discuss the position with a view to possibly averting the closing of the mine y and, as a result, rendering idle many hundreds of employees.
