TIMARU, This Day. The following resolutions were passed at a meeting of the representatives of the South Island butter factories held in Timaru: (1) That this meeting of representatives of the South Island butter factories urges the Government not to increase the duty on butter-box and cheese-crate timber. (2) That this meeting of South Island butter factories urges its disapproval of the suggested Daylight Saving Bill.
