Kay, N.G., presided over a good attendance at the fortnightly meeting of Bellevue Lodge, Tffo. 126, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., Lower Hutt. Two members were reported sick, relative sick drafts were passed, ana report of social committee was rc??^Kr ? fficial visifc was made hy *»c D.D.G.M {Bro F. J. Jones, P.G.), who congratulated the lodge on its progress during the preceding half-year. ■*s inniy^ngton Rebekah Lodge No. 38, I-0.0.F N.Z., had a good attendance at its fortnightly meeting, Sister : K. •Reeves,-N.G., presiding. Visitors :::> eluded Bros. F. J; Jones, D.D.G.M.; H. Finch, P.D.D.G.M., and J. H. West, P.G. Iwo members were reported sick. Several social invitations were accepted. One brother was admitted to the Kebekah decree, and three lady candidates were nominated. Sister M. Pearson, N.G.. presided over tlio lortnightly meeting of Star of Petono Kebekah Lodge, No. 45. I here was a very good attendance at the iortiughtly meeting of Muritai Lodge No 113, 1.0.0 J., N.Z., Eastbourne, Bro. F. E Ovoaden, N.G., presiding. An official visit was received from the D.D.G.M (Bro J?. J, Jones, P.G.) and district officers' -Two candidates were elected, and the evening was concluded witk a progressive euehro tournament.
Bro. J. 1. M'Ginnity, P.G., presided over the fortnightly meeting of Cleveland Lodge, :No. 13, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., there being a very good attendance. Two members were reported .sick, quarterly returns were adopted, two candidates were initiated, and another candidate was nominated. Court Lady Glasgow, No. $261, A.O.F ni !- s fortniShtly meeting last week, O.K. Sister A. Morris presiding. A lnotton of sympathy was passed to P C R bister E. Roberts. Sister E. Byng was installed at J.B. An invitation to a social evening was received and accepted from Court Sir William J. Jeivois. The court adjourned for harmony. The debate for the evening. "Should a Husband Assist in the Home? caused much amusement On resuming business, P.C.R. Sister H Lawton presented P.G'.R. Sis. Mona Hoy with a iJ.O.K. emblem and neck ribbor.. Two candidates were proposed. Supper concluded a very pleasant evening. The weekly meeting of Hope of Potonc Lodge, No. IS7, 1.0. G.T., was held last Wednesday.
