"The Auctioneer" has almost everything that wholesome entertainment could have. "The Auctioneer" sots forth In a human manner the story of a little Irish orphan who is adopted by a Russian and his wife on their way to America. The Russian, upon his arrival In New York, borrows somo of tho money entrusted to • him for tho well-being of tho llltlo Eirl he has adopted. With this money ho bcßlns on a business career that in years to conic carries him and his Ilttlo family to tho luxury of ,an abode on Rlversldo drive. As played by George Sydney, tho auctioneer Is said to be a lovable figure. Marion Nixon and Gareth Hughes head tho supporting cast. Alfred K. Green, tho- director, has introduced some fine blt3 'of. New York atmosphero In this film. An excellent supporting programme is Included, together with tuneful music by tho talented King's Orchestra. The box plan Is at Tho Bristol.
