Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date ot the 28th instant:—"Butter market steady, but fiuiet.. We quote Banish, ]50s to 160s (158s to 160s), New Zealand finest salted 156s to 160s (158s to 160s), Australian finest unsalted 162s (1645), salted 156s to 160s (158s to 160s). Cheese, market steady, but quiet. We quote New Zealand white and coloured 90s to 92s (88s tq 90s). Spot price for Canadian white and coloured 90s to 925; c.i.f. price for Canadian 93s (895)." (Last week's quotations shown in parentheses.)
