The Auckland weekly "Eadio" has produced a booklet giving full details lor the construction of an "all-wavo" receiver, designed for operation on all wave-longths, from 30 to 3000 metres by means of a scries of plug-in coils attached to special mounts. The receiver is a three-valvo instrument using a regenerative detector and two stages of audio-frequency amplification, and offers 210 difficulties that need deter a constructor of average skill. It is rather n pity that the set does not include a neutralised stage of radio-fre-quency amplification to remove it from the class of interference creators, but one cannot havo everything.
