OLYMPIC CLUB.

Ihe Olympic Club decided its club championship at Lyall Bay under excellent running conditions. The course, an entirely new one 'of two laps, led trom the Rongotai tram terminus across the sand to the new playing area. Cutting across to the sea front the trail led some distance along the beach towards the fishermen's huts before turning into the hills again.- Following round the edge of the golf course over a slight rise, the Seatoun road was reached, and this was followed back to Rongotai. C. Campbell (38min 55sec) won a welljudged race, with P. Wilson (30min lOsec) second, A. Carter, running with a-fine, easy style, finished third (42min 3sec). A sealed handicap run in conjunction with the race resulted in aw in for Carter, with Campbell second.
