MANAWHENUA'S ATTITUDE
A brief discussion took place at today's special meeting of tho Management Committee of tho New Zealand Bugby Union with regard to players going into camp in preparation for representative matches. It was announced that the Manawhenua Uniou had sent advice that its team was going into camp for four days. Mr. Dean: "We should send a reply to Mr. Ongley, the Manawhenua president, and defer discussion on the subject till Monday."
It was decided that a communication should.be sent to Mr. Ongley pointing out tho ruling .of.tho International Board on the subject of canipa, the decision of the Management Committee in the. matter, and also draw tho attention of the Manawhenua president of tho N.Z.R.U.'s powers under law 37.
