FAILURE TO ACCOUNT

. ' (B? Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBOENE, This Day. John Hoden Bullard, a solicitor, was charged before Mr. Levvy, S,M., at the Police Court this morning with fraudulently omitting to account for sums amounting to £1308. It was alleged that the offences were spread over three years.. The accused, who conducted his own c!!fp stated that ho intended to plead guilty. Dotecti •, o M'Leod stated that the accused had been in practice) at Gieborno under the name of Mann and Bullard. The amounts wero in rospect to rents which had been collected by the accused for clients, and for which he had failed to account. In a statement the accused said that he had endeavoured to pay off the amounts, but, realising the impossibility, gave himself up to the polico in Juno of this your. He admitted that there was £6000 owing to various firms or private croditors.
