SEQUEL TO COLLISION
CLAIM AGANST LADY DRIVER
Alleging that thj female defendant, as a result of her nogligcnt and unskilful handling of a motor-car on Jervois quay on 23rd December, had caused injury to himself and damage to his motor:cycle, John Lindsay, waterside worker, of Ngaio, is proceeding in the Magistrate's Court to-day against James Barr Lauchlan, jewellery importer, of Wellington, and Helen Brown Lauchlan, his wife, who is possessed of separate estate. Ho claims £.38 17s 6d for medical expenses, repairs to his cycle, and loss of wages, as well as £10 special damages.. Mr. W. E. Leicester appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. W. Perry for tho defendants.
