PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
"For the Term of His Natural Llfo" is being screened to packed houses at the Paramount Theatre. The story 13 told on tlio screen,with wonderful vividness. The features of the narrative are presented with a realism which keeps the attention rlvetted on the picture from start to llnish. The chief characters aro excellently portrayed, Mr. George Fishor < and the well-known American actress Eval Novak especially distinguishing themselves. Miss Marian Marcus Clarke, who Is a daughter of the author of "For tho Term of His Natural Life," has a splendid part In tho picture. Tho picture was largely taken on tho actual spots described by Marcus Clarke in his book Tho orchestra, under tho leadership of Mr. R. It. Caulton, played the famous "William Toll' ovcrturo in a most effective manner, and contributed accoptablo accompanying music throughout tho ovcnlng. "THE WALTZ DREAM.* "The Waltz Dream," a XJ.F.A. picture, made by tho producers of "Variety," will.bo screened at tho Paramount next Friday. It reveals tho Continental spirit in yet another mood gayor, lighter in tone, with moro of an cyo to tho English taste than any previous pictiiro sent over by that' great company. An Oscar Strauss operetta was tho basis for the piece, and its director, Ludwiu Bercor lias put Into tho film itself a good deal of the lilt of tho charming waltzes of old Vienna. Madv Christians, Willy Fritsch, and Xenla Dcsnl who play tho principal roles, aro newcomers to this country. By their work in "The Waltz Dream" thoy take their places with the foremost of America s stars.
