At the end of the Auckland Ladies' Provincial Golf Championship, when Airs. Shailer Weston (Wellington) won the final, becoming provincial ladies' champion, there was a very happy function at the club-house when Mrs. T. <"" ..Savage, president of the Auckland Ladies' Club, presented the prizes won at the tournament. Miss J. Eeid, captain of the.club, congratulated the prize-winners and expressed the hope that those who were not in the prizelist would be included next year. On behalf of the visitors, Miss AI. Ward, Wellington, thanked members of the club for their many kindnesses and three cheers were given. Alembers of the Auckland Club responded with three cheers for the visitors.
