"M'FADDEN'S FLATS."

-Attention of the man ivho jeclared that "no successful play could be constructed without a villain is called to "M'Fadden's Flats," featuring Charlie Murray and Chester Conklin, to be screened at thu Paramount on JViday'next,- While more laughs, numerous, unusual and side-split-' ting situations have, it is said, been added to the orignal stage play in order to fit it for the screen, it is as much without the usual "heavy" work of the ordinary play as when it first-was.produced. "The substitution of many laughs must have mailo up for the lack of villainy," said Edward Small, who produced the comedy. "Newer productions are proving .that audiences the world over love' to laugh and that they don't mind if the usual rules of production are overlooked in the finding of those laughs." The Orchestra Paramount, under the direction of Mr. R. R. Caultoiv will also present the "Famous Music Masters" series No.-2.-This series deals with the life of Stephen Foster, and the musical numbers will include "Old Folks at Home," "Come Where My Love Lies Dreaming," "Old Black Joe," "0 Suss-'. anna," "Old Kentucky Home." The bo's plan is now open .at the ;booking office. "For the! Term'" of His Natural' Life," the big Australian masterpiece, will bo shown at the Paramount ..shortly.
