Received. 21st June, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The reported confession of Norman Clyde Maephersou as to the murder of Martha Quin, states that he had been drinking heavily for live weeks prior to the tragedy. Ho seemed mad ; and did not realise what he- had done. When realisation did come to him through reading the newspaper reports of Miss Quin's death he decided to tctuvu to Sydney and clear the matter up.
