AUCKLAND, 20th June.

Alexander Mullholland (32) was charged this morning with posing as a detective. Ho was remanded on bail.

The Sub-Inspector stated that the accused spoko to sevoral men in a hotel on Saturday, stating that he was a detective. Two surprised young fellows said they had dono nothing wrong, but one gave his name. This was actually noted by Mullholland.
