THE BISHOPS RING

LOST DURING WORLD TOUR

' (United Press Association.—Copyright.)

. LONDON, 18th June. Who in Australia has the Bishop of London's episcopal ring, which, it has just been revealed, was lost on his recent world tour? His private secretary says the Bishop does not remember when tho ring was last worn, because it was only used on ceremonial occasions. The .idea is that it may have been lost between Australia and Colombo. When the Bishop* belongings were unpacked he was distressed to discover it was missing from the regalia. A search instituted by the Bishop at Colombo was fruitless. The ring w invaluable from a sentimental viewpoint, while its intrinsic value is considerable.
