SURVEYOR CHARGED

CHRISTCHUBCH, 19th June. Douglas Charles Hopewell, aged 28, described as a surveyor, who has evaded arrest since April, was charged in the Magistrate's Court yesterday:with obtaining £8 8s by means of a valueless cheque. It was stated by Detective Studholme that other charges were pending. Hopewell was remanded in custody.
