fi Law f; v:eni ne. before a large audience, the Wellington Tramways Band rendered their tenth recital of the 1927 series. Mr. } c Cal? wcll san B "Shipmates of Mine," and for the encore "Sergeant-Major on larade. Miss Myra Sawyer rendered fcmg, Joyous Bird" in her usual pleasinn Sifr Tf' t S!" ginK "My ' Treasure" and 2^ ! V ak a Rose" for encores. Mrs. Wilfred Andrews, the well-known contralto, created a wonderful impression in tie rendering of "Pale Moon," and tor the recalls she gave "Angus M'Donald" ?? ,^Zee^ oose Aman 8 «ie Heather." Mr Wilfred Scott, a baritone, who has appeared with English revues, was heard in The Toreador," "In a Tumble Down bliack, and "Heart of Gold." Mr O Kamo delighted the audience with his ba "l° sol°s. "The Gladiator's Farewell" and Bye-bye Blackbird." He also gave a mouthorgan and mandolin sold, combined. The band, under Mr. Ti Goodail, pfcxyed a hymn, "Celestial Joy"; overture thrown- Diamonds," and "Jamie's Patrol. Mr. Haydock played the accompaniments artistically.
