AUCKLAND, 17th Ju»«. . Tho Auckland Listeners' league, in. a circular signed by tha president, Mr. A, G. Jacob, enumerates the many complaints against the present broadcasting system in New Zealand as the result of two years' monopoly by. the New Zealand Broadcasting Company, The circular. stated that tho Advisory Board, formed by the last PostnjMt. er-General, has seemingly ceased to function. It asserts that an entirely inadequate sum is spent en programmes and that undue expenses are incurred in rents and administration. Comnjaint is made of the killing of Joear initiative by the control of JYA from Christchurch, and of tho non-publication of tho official balance-sheet.
