HUTT POULTRY SHOW.
'Record entries are expected this year by the Hutt Valley Poultry, Pigeon, Cage, Bird, and Cat Society, whose fourth annual show takes place at Peton& t on 7th and Bth July next. Entries close on the 24th June. A new departure this year is the. cookery and fancy work com-petitions-for ladies and' children, for which there are post entries. Special prize, list, and all particulars, may be obtained from the secretary, Box 39, Petone.
There were £60,000 worth of horsewhips sold m the United States last year in spite of motor-cars. '
