'Miss Valeric Corliss will shortly commence an interesting series of recital-lec-turca. Musio-lovers will enjoy the; six varied and delightful programmes of pianoforte music, ranging from Bach and Handel to modern English, French, and Russian composers,'such as John Ireland, Arnold Bax, Benjamin Dale, Cesar Franck, Debussy, Scriabirie, Arensky, Blumenfeld, Medtner, etc. The Prelude, Early Dance Forms, the Sonata, the Mazurka and Polonaise, the Js octurne; Capriccio, Impromptu, Ballade,' and Scherzo are amongst" 'the compositions chosen to be played by Miss Corliss and advanced "pupils. , At each recital Miss Corliss will talk upon the form and characteristics of the compositions, hptl give a short sketch of the lives and personalities of the various composers.
