The Wiltshire bacon-curers are iri favour of the large white boar, the Berkshire sow-, middle white sow and tue large black bow. The Midland bacon^urers are id fayour of the large white board, middle white,.and Welsh sow. The Welsh is ail oftshoot of the large Svhite bMed," trorn. these results-it-is seen that the large white boar was unanimously chosen ••nthout any preference for any other breed in the three eases, and the middle white sow seems to be the preference also, practically in every instance. ■■
