COMMENCEMENT AT WARSAW

, - - WARSAW, 15th'June. .The trial of Kowerda for the murder of Voikoff haß begun. There are twenty witnesses for the prosecution, including four experts. The witnesses for the defence are chiefly the accused's parents and sister. Kowerda was calm and composed. Ho •admitted: shooting Voikoff, adding tho words: "I am not guilty of murder. I did not know Voikoff. I shot him because of what the Bolsheviks have done to Russia."
