: British Incorporated Pictures has bought for £147,500; thirty-five acres of the Wembley Exhibition, including the Palace of Engineering, the hall, the lake, half Kingsway, with the neighbouring gardens, the North Entrance Building and the Exhibition Bank.- .- ■> .-■;.. v '■■ .

Mr. Balph Pugh, the managing director, says that the Palace of Engineering fi the largest covered concrete building in the world, and will constitute the world's largest film studio. Thirty film-shooting spaces are available simultanously. Outdoor scenes may be filmed in the lake gardens, with a possibility of producing 150 films yearly, which is Britain's answer to others' ■challenge. Filming begins in January.
