"Contributor" Ts sumes to know more ..than the radio the "probable expendU ture of the Broadcasting Co." He airily quotes figures under the headings of «£ aries, talent, etc,.for the various broScast stations. One is led to ask" by what means hederives the figures quoted. Has the Broadcasting Co. at last taken some disinterested "man in.the street" into iU confidence, or. has the. apologist merely drawn on his imagination r, "Contributor" estimates the probable'income for the current year at. £23,000::.An Auckland radio journal recently computed'the year's income as being likely -to reach £40,000. His opinions of the wave-lengths appear .to show a lack of knowledge of the subject.
