"WOODVU/LE, 14th Juno. A tost case of interest to the dairy industry was heard before Mr. S. L. P. Free, S.M., to-day, when J. W. Smith, dairy inspector, proceedod against J. Swede, manager of the United Company's dairy factory, for not grading cream according to the general regulations under the Dairy Industries Act. The prosecution contended that the defendant was grading higher than was warranted.

After lengthy evidence hnd been heard, the Magistrate reserved his decision.

The dofonco argued that the grading was fair and reasonable, and that tho Department based the case on the grad-. ing done moro than throe hours after tho cream had arrived at the factory.
