MEAT EXPORT COMPANY
SPECIAL RESOLUTION CONFIRMED
At an extraordinary general meeting of tho Wellington Meat Export Company, Ltd., held this afternoon, Mr. O. S. Watking, chairman of the company, prosiding, the following special resolution pawed at tho extraordinary general meeting of the company on 26th May, 1927, jnoved by the chairman, and seconded by Dr. 0. Prendergast Knight wag confirmed:—"That No. 68 of the company's articles of association, reading ai follows;—' Every shareholders shall have one vote L:- ovf>T7 slmre UP t0 ten > an additional vote for every five shares beyond the first ten up to one hundred, and an additional vote for every ten shares beyond the first hundred; but no shareholder shall have more than eighty votes'—be cancelled, and the following article be substituted therefor:—'Every ehareholder shall have one vote for.every share up to ten, an additional vote for every five share» beyond the first ' ten up to one hundred, and an additional vote for every ten shares beyond the first hundred; but no shareholder shall have more than five thousand, votes.'"
