HUIA'S FIRST WIN
Huia secured their first victory this season by defeating Wellington with three goals to spare. The game was rather slow, and long spells of very even play mid-field were frequent. By half-time, the score stood at 2 all, Barber and Yates scoring for Huia, and Keegan, and Fitzjohns for Wellington. In the second spell, however, Huia gained the upper hand, and Yatcs scored three times running, leaving Huia with an easy victory. Mr. R. Guthrie was referee.
