ROSENEATH AFFAIRS.
The monthly meeting of the Bosoneath and Mount Victoria Progressive Association was held last Wednesday. Mr. B. H. Stiekney presided. The secretary (Mr. E. Cashman) reported that the City Council had notified the association that the roadway of Hawker street had been repaired, and that the footpaths of Hawker street and Moeller street had been temporarily repaired pending the arrival of the asphalt gang. In answer to the association's appeal tor a bus service for Eosoneath, the council had written stating "that it iathe intention of the Tramways Committee to consider the running of a Sunday bus service through the district when the Grafton road route is made suitable for tho running of buses through to Hataitai,". The meeting resolved to press for a Sunday service aa soon as possible.as hundreds of citizens were visiting the district at weekends to inspect the new broadcasting station on Mount Victoria. It was decided to ask the Mayor to receive a ; deputation to place before the council the condition of JPalliser road and other matters.
