RELIEF WANTED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DTJNEDIN, This Day. At a meeting attended by 350 unemployed a resolution was carried that representations be made to the Government to put works in hand immediately to relieve distress. A committee consisting of Trades Hall officials and others was appointed to keep iv touch with the unemployed men, who then i formed a procession and marched to the Town Hall in the drenching rain to state the case to the City Corporation .officials.
