,■ T ■ CUOWN. TENANTS' REPRESENTATIVE

The election of a Crown tenants' rcprosontativc on the Wellington Land Board has resulted in Mr. Charles Harris Burnett being returned with 362 votes, 70 votes ahead of Mr. Henry Thomas Ellingham, tho other nominee. The board consists of four members, three of whom are appointed by the Government and one by the tenants. Tho election is biennial.
