In the tennis tournament at St. Cloud in the semi-finals, Lacosto (France) beat Spence (South Africa), 8-1, 6-3, 6-2; Tilden beat Cochet, 9-7, 6-3, 6-2; Mrs. Peacock (SouSU Africa) beat. Miss Bennett. (England), 5-7,, 6-1, 9-7; Mademoiselle Bouman (Holland) beat Miss Heine (South Africa), 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.
