The quarterly meeting of Mewbwn Lodge No. 90, U.A.0.D., was presided orer by Bro. A. J. Cathie, Arch Druid, the election of officers took place as followi:— Ai) Bro. G. Drunimond; V.A.8., Bro. M. G. The officer was thanked for the manner in which he cai--ned out his duties. At the close of the meeting the visitors were entertained. Island Bay Lodge of Druids held Its quarterly meeting at which A.D. Bro. F. Kuch presided over a good attendance. V.if. .Bro. Laughton attended officially, and was received with Druidic honours. A cordial welcome was also extended to P.-A. ir°T i^^f (Auckland), P.A. Bro. A*,. MitcheM" (Wanganui), and Bro. G. Smipson (Melbourne). Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly meeting on Monday, C.T; Sis. Devereux presiding. Major Uiddlemiss and a party from the Salvation Army were preesnt and gave a"Ene entertainment. Major Middlemiss gave two recitations and a quartette, party. Captains .Dutton, Mahaffie, Capon, and Mr. G. Hay.gave gome items. Bro Hirst proposed,,a vote of thanks to the officers o£ the S.A. One candidate was initiated. A welcome wag extended to members of Loy»K Melrixs. Lodge, No. 53.
Star of Wellington Lodge, No. 12, held its weekly meeting on Thursday.- C.T. Bro ■■ iw Preßldlng- Three candidates were initiated and two were received on'CC from Rescue Lodge, Dunedin. A motion of sympathy was carried by silent vot« to e if 0??, oi Dunedin Lodge in the death ot feis. Kay. Bro. Ainsley conveyed greetings from lodges in England. The District Grand Master, Bro; C G Turner, paid a visit to the Loyal Tararua Lodge of Past Grands at Eketahuna for the purpose of performing the installation ceremony of the officers elect. . Visitors were present from Pahiatua, Masterton and Carterton. After the ceremon£ an' adjournment was made and a banquet partaken of. Hardy, presided over a large attendance. The following officers were elected for the ensuing term:—N.G.,- Sister A. Reynolds; V.G., Sister Wickham; 1.P.N.G., Bro. Shadlock; See., Sister S Reynolds; Warden, Sister Waghner; Tyler, Bro. H'Kenzie; Condoctors, Sister. M'Keniie and Brol Teasdale.-Bro. Conper, Loyal Past; Grands Lodge, visited the lodge. A photograph of the late Bio. Koutley was presented to the lodge by Mrs. Routley. Four new candidates were initiated. An invitation was received from Loyal Masterton Lodge in connection with H3 Golden Jubilee celebrations! On 12th May, the officers judging the. ritual shield competition attended and were accorded lodge honours. A report Vaß received from the secretary.of the Social Committee. . The quarterly meeting of Loyal Kilbh* nic Lodge was presided over by Brb. J. Wellwood. An invitation was received from the Loyal Masterton Lodge, Bro. J.
