RENOWN AT MAURITIUS DUKE AND DUCHESS LAND : (United Press Association.—Copyright.) (A.P.A. and "Sun.") PORT LOUIS (Mauritius), Ist June. In cool, sunny weather, the Renown anchored two miles from the picturesque town. Salutes were fired by the cruiser Effingham, lying in the harbour, and the shore battery. A few boatloads of inhabitants eanui out to survey the great ship. The Commander-in-chief an the East Indies station, Admiral Ellerton, called, followed shortly after by the Governor (Sir James Bead), who vu received ceremonially on the quarterdeck. The Duke and Duchess of York left the ship in the royal bargey the journey to the land occupying twent* minutes.
