CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CHRISTCHURCH
At last night's meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, the quarterly report of the Management Committee stated that the committee was in communication with the Lawn Tennis Association of Victoria concerning a visit of a Victorian team to New Zealand. In connection with the championships at Wimbledon, Miss Marjorie Macfariane had been nominated for the singles and doubles, Miss Marion Macfariane for the double, and Mr. Bussell Young for the singles. Mr. Denniston- stated that since the report was drawn up, F. M. B. Fisher and F. F. Wilding had also been nominated for the doubles. It was announced that Mr. F.
